Karen Nel

Karen Nel has been teaching at the Department of Visual Arts since 2005 and enjoys bringing industry and education together by facilitating exciting student projects with real life clients. Her industry experience saw her develop a keen interest in branding and packaging as an extension of visual identity, which she explores in the broader context of communication design. As a Tuks alumni, she also values her administrative involvement as a subject coordinator which allows her to nurture students as designers in the making. |
