This medal is awarded to a member of EASA with extraordinary achievements in the field of educational research who has contributed to and promoted the scientific status of Education within the first 8 years in an academic or research position. The recipient should have published accredited articles (national and/or international) related to the field of educational research. The recipient also must have successfully completed a funded research project which contributed to the relevance of education in improving any aspect of educational value in South Africa.
