UP Anthropology & Archaeology PhD Candidate Wins Prestigious Prize

Tsitsi Msvaure, PHD candidate at UP Anthropology & Archaeology, recently won the prize for Best Oral Presentation at the biennial conference of the International Association for the Study of Society, Culture and Sexuality (IASSCS), held in Hanoi between 15-18 April 2009.

Her paper, entitled '“I just need to be flashy” Female Students and Transactional Sex at the University of Zimbabwe', will be published in the accredited journal Culture, Health, Sexuality as part of her prize, in addition to a £500 cash prize.
