The Centre for Human Rights, University of Pretoria, cordially invites you to an Africa Day Celebration. The theme of the event is on protecting the rights of African migrants in the context of xenophobia.
The aim of the event is to celebrate the diversity of Africa and what it means to be African. Furthermore, the Africa Day Celebration will facilitate conversations on Pan-Africanism and how we can stand in solidarity with African migrants on the injustices and inhumane experiences of xenophobia in South Africa. #AfricanMigrantsMatter
Africa Day is the annual commemoration of the foundation of the African Union (formerly known as Organisation of African Unity) on 25 May 1963.
