Who are the guardians of our residence?

Christiaan and Carmen Bezuidenhout are the guardians at Asterhof. Christiaan is a professor in Criminology and Carmen is a staying at home mother. She has the huge responsibility of nurturing our two “asters”, Chestíne and Caylin and the newest member of their family, Christopher. Carmen held a management position before and studied psychology at the University of Pretoria. Christiaan obtained a doctorate degree in Criminology and furthered his studies at the University of Oxford. 

We are outdoor people and enjoy nature. We have completed advanced “scuba” dive training. Carmen likes to read and watch reality television programmes. Christiaan likes to play golf and is a huge rugby enthusiast. We are both social human beings and we enjoy interaction. We invite you to meet us and to talk to us. We would like to help wherever we can to keep your personal, social and academic activities balanced. We can offer you advice regarding most problems that society has installed for us. We also want to share your weal and woe. We are both very excited to be the guardians of Asterhof and look forward to this co-responsibility.
