IMG_0021.jpgDear prospective Kuiken and future Olympian

First of all, I would like to congratulate you for making it into the health sciences and into the prestigious House Olympus. Considering the limited space available in our residence I can confidently say this is a great achievement and a big opportunity to become part of the family here.

The transition from high school to university can be difficult sometimes especially if you have been staying at home throughout your high school life. With everything around you changing you may find it hard to keep a straight head but that’s where the HC members come in. We as the HC members are here to assist you in settling in as fast as possible. My duty as the HC member for well-being is to make sure that you get all the support you need to achieve not only academic excellence but to also grow as a person. The workload can be overwhelming and emotionally draining but you don’t have to go through that alone as my duty is to connect you to the support system our university offers.

House Olympus is a multi-racial and multi-cultural residence. With everyone coming from different backgrounds one can find it hard to fit in but we have found our common ground in upholding the values of this house which are as follows: respect, excellence, brotherhood and integrity. We break barriers to create bonds. At House Olympus there’s a room for everyone and everyone matters because we are a family, we never leave anyone behind!

Feel free to contact me if there’s anything you need or there’s anything you’re unsure of.

We look forward to meeting you.

Regards

Primo Tau
