Jonathan Smith a postgraduate student and researcher from the Yale School of Public Health was hosted by the Department of Sociology at the University of Pretoria during his summer internship. He is researching how contextual factors influence TB and HIV vulnerabilities among migrant labourers. During his stay he filmed a documentary "They go to die", which is still being edited. This short video captures some of his experiences during his stay in Southern Africa. |
