Housefather

Dr Pieter du Toit is the Housefather of House Jacaranda. He is a senior lecturer in the Department of Humanities Education, Faculty of Education. His field of specialization is teaching and learning in Higher Education. He acts as programme co-ordinator of a postgraduate programme for academic staff and a Master's in educator professional development.

His passion for contributing to making House Jacaranda Home away from home drives his involvement in House Jacaranda as part of community engagement at an intra-university level. He fully supports the TuksRes motto of creating a quality listening, learning and living space for international and local postgraduate Jacarandians.
