To adopt a leadership role on the African continent in the teaching of Veterinary Anatomy and Physiology through relevant and innovative teaching programs supported by appropriate and internationally recognized research activities, driven by suitable qualified, dedicated and motivated personnel.
Mission
- To provide internationally acceptable and locally relevant theoretical and practical training to undergraduate, post-graduate and diploma students in all appropriate facets of Veterinary Anatomy and Physiology.
- To engage in relevant research activities within the broader guidelines set out by the Faculty of Veterinary Science and the University of Pretoria.
- To promote the personal and professional development of the personnel within the Department.
