Prof Sibusiso Vil-Nkomo

Academic Qualifications and Research Trajectory:

Sibusiso Vil-Nkomo was born in Johannesburg. He obtained his primary, secondary, high school education in South Africa, his bachelor’s degree at Lincoln University, USA (Magna Cum Laude) and his Masters and PhD degrees at the University of Delaware in the U.S.A.

Currently, he serves as Research Professor in the Centre for the Advancement of Scholarship at the University of Pretoria. He is a former Executive Director and a member of the Executive of the University of Pretoria.

Prof Vil Nkomo is a member of the Board of Advisors for the School of Public Policy and Administration at the University of Delaware, is a Distinguished Visiting Professor at the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University and serves on the Editorial Board of the Servant Leadership Journal Published at Gonzaga University. In the last two years, he has been invited to the Fordham University Business School Consortium think tanking sessions, as a Fellow, in Istanbul, Turkey and New York City where the Future of Business and Governance, Health as a Business and the Arts as a Business have been discussed and analysed.
