Welcome to the Small Animal Surgery section
The Small Animal Surgery section is responsible for teaching theoretical surgical modules to undergraduate and postgraduate students. The surgery clinic in the Onderstepoort Veterinary Academic Hospital combines running a surgical referral service with practical training of the final year as well as postgraduate students. We welcome referrals for all surgical cases including cruciate repair, hip replacements, arthroscopy, intervertebral disc disease and fractures.
