Tammy is the vital cog without which the small animal surgery section would not function. She organises and trains the final year students, makes sure all the animals get to where they need to be, performs anaesthetics, changes bandages and generally aims to be indispensable with a smile.

Ephraim is responsible for the housing and feeding of all the surgery clinic patients. He worked at a specialist referral clinic before joining Onderstepoort and is very knowledgeable about patient care.

Theresa initially worked in the small animal surgery clinic where she developed an interest in physiotherapy and post operative rehabilitation of small animal patients. She was instrumental in getting the Onderstepoort Animal Rehabilitation Service (OARS) off the ground and is Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner.
