As South Africa prepares for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR), the Faculty of Engineering, Built Environment, and Information Technology (EBIT) focuses its research, teaching and learning activities on bringing competitive knowledge to industry, education, and society.

We aim for research excellence and are keen on international collaboration. The Faculty is organised into four schools: The School of Engineering, The School for the Built Environment, The School for Information Technology, and The Graduate School of Technology Management.

EBIT is highly ranked globally; our programmes are accredited by statutory and professional bodies at both national and international levels.

Test Week 2: School of Engineering

Engineering Test week will be held on Saturday, 4 May and then from 11 - 17 May 2019. Students to see the Test Timetable when it is published later in the semester.

Normal lectures will take place during 6-10 May.

NOTE: Postgraduate Block week will move to 13 - 17 May
