UP scores a hat trick in the June 2017 ITC of SAICA

The Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences' departments specialising in Financial Sciences (Accounting, Auditing, Financial Management and Taxation) are extremely proud of their students and staff and heartily congratulate them on their results in the June 2017 ITC of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.

The following are highlights of the results achieved in this challenging professional exam (the first of two such exams that form part of the pathway to qualifying as a CA):

UP achieved the highest cumulative pass rate in South Africa for the 2016 CTA cohort after completing both the January and June 2017 ITCs, with an excellent 98.5%.

UP achieved the highest pass rate in South Africa in this challenging exam.

UP also scored the highest combined average mark for the four papers written during the June 2017 ITC.
