It is a requirement that a student must complete all three the Bioengineering Honours modules, as well as Introduction to Research 732 (EIN 732), if he or she wants to proceed to a MEng(Bioengineering) degree.

Funding is available for fulltime Honours study for SA citizens (among others, through NRF bursaries, assistent lecturer positions and research assistantships).
