Four postgraduate students from the Centre for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (CAAC) were chosen to present their research at the Humanities Day Postgraduate Student Conference at the University of Pretoria on the 3rd September 2015.
The aim of the conference was to promote and highlight postgraduate student research and enhance research capacity within the Faculty.
Dr. Schlebusch presented her research on families raising children with autism spectrum disorder, Dr. Johnson presented her research on the exploration of the common pain-related vocabulary typically developing children use, Dr. Naude presented her research on exploring ethical sensitivity in the South African context and Mrs. White presented her research on testifying in court as a victim of crime with little or no functional speech.
Well done to our students on presenting their ground-breaking research.
