Prof Cycil Hartell and staff from the University of Pretoria, University of KwaZulu Natal, Tshwane University of Technology and Central University of Technology held a meeting at the conference to discuss the work plan and roles and responsibilities of delegates in their EU and DHET inter-institutional project. The latter is a collaborative project that seeks to do relevant and quality research that will inform material development to strengthen the existing programmes at UP and UKZN and to develop new programmes at universities (CUT and TUT) that do not have Foundation Phase programmes.
