TuksNetball

TuksNetball Club is an open women's club, this means that all female netball player’s students and non-students are welcome.  You can play for the club as well as your residence in the league, making TuksNetball an all year netball experience.  TuksNetball hosts and take parts in many tournaments providing opportunities for all level of play; Brutal Fruit, Gauteng Provincial Championships, Gauteng North League, University Championships (USSA), Intervarsity, SPAR Snr National Championships, Varsity Netball, Tshwane Development Championships, Valentine’s Tournament, Internal League, Fast 5 and Social Leagues.

With several National Senior and junior as well as Fast 5 players coming from TuksNetball - we offer the opportunity for ALL Netball players to reach their full potential.

We also host Coaching & Umpiring courses, which provide the opportunity for players to develop their officiating skills and earn additional income.  Should you wish to join TuksNetball to become an administrator you will be received with open hands – volunteers will be part of many prestigious tournaments making a difference off the court!

Coaches:

Jenny van Dyk, Head of Programme Tuks1 Coach – as well as coach of the BFNC Jaguars, Gauteng North Ladies A& u21 teams, and SA u19 Coach. 

All our coaches are NSA accredited with the relevant practical experience and qualifications.

Facilities:

TuksNetball is blessed with 5 outdoor courts of high quality, managed with the utmost care and regulated with strict safety precautions at all times. We also have the Rembrandt Hall in the Sports Centre on the UP Sports Campus with 2 indoor courts available on selected days.  Our outdoor courts are equipped with standardized Fast5 lines on all courts, a first in Gauteng!
