In-patients
Please contact the registrar on call to discuss the patient you wish to transfer.

Out-patients

Please make bookings by phoning the secretary.

Patients must have the following documentation:
Referral letter
Proof of residence
Proof of income
Parents ID, child’s birth certificate
Clinics:
Wednesday - General clinic
Friday - Paediatric Constipation and Incontinence Clinic(Previously Encopresis)
2. Kalafong Hospital – Out-patient department(PSOPD)
General Clinic on Wednesdays 09:00
Patients from Kalafong’s referral area accepted.
No appointment required, patient should have a referral letter.

Scope of practice
Tertiary paediatric surgery is defined as surgery in children under 13 years of age and includes the following areas of interest :
Tertiary paediatric surgery has limited beds and share ward 8.5 (30 beds) with other surgery disciplines ie neurosurgery, urology, plastic surgery, maxillo-facial surgery
