Residence Screens
The television screens at the various residences are a platform to display announcements, special dates and events happening at the University of Pretoria or that specific residence.
The television screens will also assist TuksRes in launching campaigns that are relevant to the student body and the university as whole. These maybe health campaigns or special day campaigns for days such as Heritage Day. Having students involved in the campaigns will be essential because this indirectly creates a new platform and a new line of communication between TuksRes and the residence student body.
The content displayed on the televisions screens will be distributed via Scala Content Manager. This assists in ensuring that that information displayed at the residences is distributed efficiently via a playlist that will run depending on the time set.
The content displayed will be designed via Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Scala Design. These applications help to ensure that the content produced is of the highest quality.
