Student Health Services

Services available at Student Health Services (SHS)

• The Student Health Services are the medical and wellness services available to all registered UP students on various campuse

• The comprehensive services are available at the Hatfield Campus every week day and on the other campuses on a rotational basis, staffed by a professional nurse
• Student Health Services on the Hatfield Campus is staffed by:
• Medical doctors
• Professional nurses
• Dieticians
• Optometrists
• HIV  peer counsellors (or Befrienders, who are specially trained CSA&G volunteers
• Services are FREE to all registered students of the University of Pretoria
