Key experts who will be invited attendees to the symposium, will be members on the facilitating panel for this cohort of young aspiring academics at the Graduate Learning Camp. These include:
- A workshop on how to write scientifically by Prof Alfred Stein (expert in spatial statistics from the University of Twente, The Netherlands);
- Prof Sudipto Banerjee (expert from UCLA) with a workshop titled “Statistical Modelling and analysis for spatially oriented data with applications to ecology, economics, forestry and public health,
- Dr Joe Cappelleri, Executive Director of Biostatistics from Pfizer who’ll share thoughts and guidance on the transition between academia and industry, their relationship, and future avenues;
- Prof Jeffrey Wilson from the University of Arizona will facilitate a workshop titled Modelling all types of correlation in hierarchical logistic regression models with time dependent covariates.
