National Department of Tourism (NDT)

MoU with the National Department of Tourism (NDT), through their research and bursary funding, have shown great support for the Tourism Management Division and our students since 2012.

University of Oulu (Finland)

The Tourism Management Division has a South-South Student Mobility Programme and MoU with the University of Oulu in Finland. 

Haaga-Helia University of Applied Science (Finland) & NHTV University of Applied Sciences (Netherlands)

Our partnership with the Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences in Finland and the NHTV University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands has seen the establishment of an ongoing research project on the future of travel management companies in South Africa, Finland and the Netherlands.

University of Bournemouth (UK)

Staff members from the Division is undertaking a research study in collaboration with Murdoch University in Australia and North West University on "Understanding sustainable tourism development and responsible tourism practices in the Kruger National Park."

Eberswalde University (Germany)

The Division has a MOC with Eberswalde University of Sustainable Development and are establishing a joint MPhil degree in Sustainalbe Tourism.
