The Hillcrest Campus offers 76 hectares of sports dedicated land and boasts some of the best sport facilities in South Africa and Africa.

Outdoor Facilities

• 50 m and 25 m heated swimming pools
• Bestmed Athletics Stadium, Mondo Athletics Track, grass track for training, Athletics Clubhouse and three strength and conditioning gyms
• Archery shooting range
• Astro turf, mini-astro, hockey clubhouse and six grass fields
• Basketball courts
• Beach volleyball court
• Cricket Main Oval, clubhouse, cricket nets, five ovals and the UP/Cricket SA Indoor Centre of Excellence
• Dam for canoeing

Indoor Sports Centre

• The Rembrandt Hall (1 600 m²), which has 3 000 permanent seats and houses two courts each for netball, basketball and volleyball, and eight for badminton. Multi-purpose floor to accommodate events and functions.
• One Gymnastics Hall and three halls for judo, karate, taekwondo, aikido and badminton
• Tuks Student Gym (strength and conditioning)
• ISR sports laboratory and rehabilitation gymnasium, sports medicine rooms and physiotherapists
• Heated indoor swimming pool (length 12 m)
