Directions to the UP main campus

From the North to main entrance in Lynwood street

N1 South (Polokwane highway) to N4 off-ramp (Witbank highway) Follow the N4 west, it becomes Pretorius Street towards city centre. Turn left into Gordon. Pass several traffic lights and turn right into Lynwood Street. 0.8km until next traffic light, then UP main entrance is on your right. Rugby stadium (Loftus) is 600 meters beyond the UP entrance, pass the stadium and use the circle at the church to turn around if needed.

From Johannesburg

N1 north towards Polokwane until Lynwood off-ramp Follow Lynwood left (west) passing several traffic lights. First set of traffic lights beyond Duncan Street is at Tuks main entrance on your right. Rugby stadium (Loftus) is 600 meters beyond the UP entrance, pass the stadium and use the circle at the church to turn around if needed. From Johannesburg International Airport Follow Pretoria signs until the N1. Follow the N1 north until Lynwood off-ramp as above.

From the west

Follow Schoeman Street or Church Street direction east up to Gordon Street. Pass several traffic lights and turn right into Lynwood Street. 0.8km until next traffic light, then UP main entrance is on your right.
