Ballroom & Latin
The Ballroom and Latin are divided into several 6-month courses: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced. Once you have completed the Advanced course you can go into our Medal programme.
Social Dances
We have several dances we consider to be social or speciality dances. We do not offer these dances as part of our standard syllabus. They are added as part of our social syllabus. Basically, when the coach decides that the students are ahead of the standard syllabus they will be presented.
Salsa, Mambo, Sokkie, Boogie, Viennese Waltz, Paso-Doble, Argentine Tango
Beginners
Waltz, Foxtrot, Jive, Cha-cha - Basic steps.
Intermediate
Waltz, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Cha-cha, Jive, Rumba - Continue with more advanced steps in the Beginner dances.
Master Class
Waltz, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Cha-Cha, Jive, Rumba, Tango, Samba - Continue with more advanced steps from the intermediate syllabus.
Medal Programme
This programme continues with the dances but adds more technique and more variations. Every 6 months a student can decide if they wish to dance an examination to go onto the next level or continue at the same level.
Levels consist of:
Pre-Bronze, Bronze Bar, Bronze Medal, Silver Bar, Silver Medal, Gold Bar, Gold Medal, Emerald Star, Blue-Ribbon, Annual Award.
