The University of Pretoria’s Department of Facilities Management (UPFM) is a multi-disciplinary department which has been positioned to coordinate all estate and facility related services at the University of Pretoria and to provide these services at the strategic, tactical and operational levels to the entire university community. In performing its task the Department of Facilities Management integrates the needs for facilities, services and infrastructure into a single, comprehensive facilities master plan to support the UP 2025 strategic plan which states that spatial infrastructure and physical facilities are central to providing the environment within which students and staff can excel to achieve the University’s academic mission.
