I have performed in, choreographed and and directed various productions in different contexts over the years. I have contributed scholarly publications and conference presentations in my fields of research. I am a guest lecturer and external examiner at a number of departments in South African and abroad. I bring my interests in movement, applied drama/theatre, indigenous knowledge systems, education and gender to the courses I teach.

I lecture Drama and Film Studies (DFK) from first year to third year level. In addition, I am involved in teaching selected honours courses as well as supervising numerous MA and PhD candidates.
