RAG is an acronym that stands for Reach out And Give. The main aim of this portfolio is to reach out  and give something of yourself to better someone else’s life. This includes your time, talents, resources and most of all your ability to share the gift of life with others.

UP RAG is a student driven charity organization dedicated towards developing students through their active participation in fundraising and community service initiatives. One of the main focuses in the last year has been community engagement.

Community engagement can be defined as: Purposefully and actively interacting and engaging with a community to identify needs that can be addressed by the time and resources available.

We as Dregeana strive to actively take part in engaging the community around us and helping to better others lives in a sustainable way. This is done in 2 ways:

 Long term project: This is a project that stretches over 5 years or more and aims to aid a chosen charity or organization by being continually involved in fundraising and voluntary work over the period. Click HERE to view our long term project

Short term projects: This aims to address needs of the community within a single term and multiple projects like these are done throughout the year.
