In our department, we pride ourselves in the part we play in our students’ growth towards becoming actuaries and growing the actuarial profession and knowledge base. With a teaching staff full of qualified actuaries, we prepare well-rounded graduates and they are sought after in the market place.
On the research front, we continue to grow our research contribution. With the support of Absa, we host the Absa Chair in Actuarial Science and the number of post-graduate students are increasing steadily.
