Metallurgical Sub-House

Metallurgy is not just a field of study but a life process that shapes our world. We don’t only extract ores but potential within ourselves and our work displays just that. The source of our future lies beneath us; it is our designated purpose to unveil it for all to see, use, and feel. We love metals for they shape what we see around us. We do what we can as many people depend upon our best work.

Metallurgy as a field of study is art, has beauty in the processes of metal extraction from earth’s ore which we are abundantly blessed with. We merge and from part of diverse culture in engineering which allow us to reshape the future and the past by the skills embedded in us.

It begins from the warm cup of tea one takes in the morning to the very same bed you rest upon end of day. The process in which the metallic and ceramic structures one observes each day is a long chain of event, from processing of ore and mineral resources, reflection of understanding of metals, selection of materials for a specific application with the thought of optimization as a driving force.


Metallurgical Engineering is family with two main basic families namely, extractive metallurgy or mineral processing whose purpose is to apply the science and technology of mineral refinement and processing into action to outsource the final metal product as well as material engineering or physical metallurgy whose concerned about the use of raw materials and alloy them to form parts with desirable characteristics.
 

Metallurgy is a multidisciplinary field that combines engineering principles and the basic sciences to concentrate, extract and refine metals from ores, and to manufacture them into a wide variety of finished products, from everyday household utensils to sophisticated engineering components. 

Our standard of living is evidently shown in every structure around us, such the Eiffel Tower.

We as metallurgist exist on high ground in industries where our skills are a valuable commodity. The behaviour of metals and alloys are the characteristics we present to the world. High ductility, strength, durability is the response we give when there is load upon us.
