Apart from close involvement on different levels with peers at the SNTS, SBL, EABS, CBL, Context Group and other international specialist societies in the field of New Testament Studies, are we also closely involved on national level with the New Testament Society of South Africa, the Association for the Study of the Septuagint in South Africa, and the Bible Society of South Africa.
We regularly participate actively on international and national level on invitation to present guest lectures, read scholarly papers in our specialist areas at conferences abroad and to contribute to books and international research projects.
A large number of research associates from across the globe participate regularly in research projects in the Department of New Testament Studies. Our annual "NTW FOKUS" programme - the research arm of our department - provides a forum for annual international conferences on specialist themes with colleagues from, amongst others, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Finland, Norway, Greece, Turkey, the UK, Australia and the USA.
