Are you a prospective student? Are you interested in following a career as a doctor, dentist, nurse, allied health professional, a veterinarian or veterinary nurse, architect, interior architect, or landscape architect? If you #ChooseUP, we not only offer programmes for these careers, but many more.

However, if any of these career paths interest you, please note that these are selection programmes, which means a limited number of candidates can be selected – and the closing date for these programmes is coming up on 31 May.

There are selection programmes in the Faculties of Health Sciences, Veterinary Science and Engineering, Built Environment & IT.

Please apply as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Kindly note that no late applications will be allowed.

 Why should you #ChooseUP and apply for a selection programme in one of these faculties?

  • UP is one of the top 1.9% of universities worldwide*;
  • The Faculty of Health Sciences is internationally recognised and recently  made headlines when Professor Mashudu Tshifularo completed the first middle ear transplant using 3D-printed bones to allow someone to hear again;
  • The Faculty of Veterinary Science is the only one of its kind in South Africa and enjoys international recognition as one of the top veterinary schools in the world; and
  • The Department of Architecture in the Faculty of Engineering, the Built Environment and Information Technology, is rated third of its kind in Africa*

Remember, the sooner you apply, the better! Apply online right now at http://www.up.ac.za/online-application
