Please take note:

  • Original certificates/diplomas/degrees is issued only once in either Afrikaans or English.

  • The original version can never be replaced.

  • Should you lose your certificate/diploma/degree or it gets destroyed you may apply for a verification through the company Managed Integrity Evaluation (Pty) Ltd.

In safe keeping:

Certificates/Diplomas/Degrees will be safely kept at the Graduation Ceremony Office, Department Enrolment and Student administration (DESA) of the University of Pretoria, if you did not attend the ceremony, or if your financial/library material issues have not yet been resolved.

  • Options to receive your certificate/diploma/degree
  • (mention your student number in all correspondence)

Personal collection or permitting someone to collect on your behalf:

  • E-mail the letter of permission in which that person’s initials, surname, and ID/passport number are confirmed to [email protected];
  • Graduation Ceremony Office [Administration Building, building no. 5 on campus map, 2nd Floor, Office number 2.31.

Courier

  • E-mail a physical address, name, surname and two contact numbers and proof of payment to [email protected];
  • The certificate/diploma/degree can only be couriered after receipt of the correct amount into the bank account of the University. The banking details of the University are: Absa, Hatfield, branch code 632005, account 214 000 0038, Swift code for international students: ABSAZAJJCPT. Reference no: E0D024/Student number. Proof of payment must be e-mailed to [email protected] or faxed to 012 420 4587.

Courier price list:

South Africa – R300.00

Africa – R470.00

Rest of the world – R580.00

  Per registered mail:

  • Postal address should be confirmed by e-mail  to [email protected] or faxed to 012 420 4587 (please bear in mind, however, that your certificate could get lost due to the ongoing labour dispute at the South African Post Office)
