Coaches & Technical Staff

Rudolph du Plessis is the current assistant coach of the University of Pretoria Women’s student and senior team, as well as the Gauteng Women’s team assistant coach. 

In 2016 he completed the VSA Level 1 coaching course and in 2017, attended the International Coaches Congress for Sport Performance. 

His exceptional coaching skills empowered the Gauteng Women’s Team to win Gold at the Interprovincial Tournament (IPT) in 2017 – a proud moment for the assistant coach. 

Rudolph also had the opportunity to be assistant coach to the University Sports South Africa Women’s Team in 2017.

GP is currently the head coach for the University of Pretoria Women's Team - both senior and student. 

His dedication to volleyball and his willingness to go the extra mile has enabled the TuksVolleyball women’s team to win the bronze medal at the Champs Cup in 2016 and the silver medal at the University Sports South Africa (USSA). 

GP has also held the position of head coach for the Gauteng senior ladies team who won the Gold medal in 2017, and the assistant national coach for the u21 ladies team that travelled to Mauritius.  He has an FIVB Level 2 coaching qualification and has also been the President of Gauteng volleyball from
1990 to 2000. 

GP is always open to helping new players, so why not come and join the TuksVolleyball ladies!

As the current President of the Gauteng Volleyball Union, who better than Isheunesu Munatsi to coach Volleyball? 

He has been a coach at the University of Pretoria since 2012.

Isheunesu is an FIVB level 1 coach with more than 10 years of coaching experience and more than 20 years of Volleyball experience. This includes experience at a Provincial Association Administration and National Association Administration level.   In 2006, he was Zimbabwe’s delegate at the FIVB World Congress in Tokyo, Japan. 

Isheunesu, or just “Coach” as everyone likes to call him, is an incredible teacher and is well-respected among the Volleyball community.

Dina Kladis has comprehensive coaching experience. Having attended various workshops and courses - such as FIVB Level 1 Coaching Course in 2005 - she is highly knowledgeable about the game. 

Dina has achieved at a high level, representing Gauteng from 1992 – 2000 and 2004 - 2006, as well as being part of the SA National Team in both 1996 and 2001-2002. 

Her qualifications include Volleyball South Africa Level 1 Referee. Dina started as a volleyball coach in 1991 at Pretoria High School for Girls and is currently coaching at St Mary’s DSG Pretoria. She also has experience as the University of Pretoria Women’s Coach for both Indoor and Beach Volleyball from 2013 - present.
