Module content | Conceptual consideration of the phases in mechanical design acknowledging the many feedbacks & iterations. Detailed exposure to machine elements, including fasteners, gears, belts, chains and bearings. Selection of standard mechanical components. Detailed exposure to machining processes used to manufacture components for mechanical machines. Detailed exposure to GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) needed for manufacturing drawings. |
