  1. Relevant honours degree with specialisation in a language, linguistics or a language-related discipline
  2. A cumulative weighted average of at least 65% for the honours degree

  • An acceptable level of proficiency in English or Afrikaans is a requisite.
  • An approved research proposal is required.
