Other Degree Training programs

In addition to its above resident degree training programs CEEPA supports the teaching of environmental economics specialization curricula of few other degree training programs listed below:

MSC and PhD degrees in Environmental Management-Specialization in Environmental Economics

This degree training program is offered and coordinated by the Centre for Environmental Studies (CFES) of the University of Pretoria. CEEPA staff teaches the prescribed curricula in environmental economics for this offering. Admission requirements and prescribed curricula for these programs are found at (www.up.ac.za/centre-for-environmental-studies)

Regional MA and PhD Degree Training programs

CEEPA staff and members of its network support the teaching of the environmental economics component of the curricula prescribed for regional collaborative MA and PhD degrees in economics offered and coordinated by the African Economic Research Consortium (AERC). One of the said programs, The Collaborative MA in Applied Economics (CMAE) adopted an equivalent of CEEPA’s curricula in environmental economics for one of its specialization option in natural resources economics. The joint Facility for Electives offering the CMAAE specialization courses takes place every year at the University of Pretoria campus.  Admission requirements and prescribed curricula for these programs are found at (www.aercafrica.org)
