In December 2014, Dr Christine Maritz-Olivier and Noelani van den Berg were awarded promotions to Associate Professor. This is well deserved recognition of their academic contributions to Ticks and Tick Born Diseases as well as the Fruit Tree Biotechnology Programme (FTBP) respectively, over the past few years. We look forward to them taking up their new academic responsibilities.
