UP Law Professor Corlia van Heerden appointed as South African Research Chair of the IVZW Tidjschrift voor Privaatrecht at Gent University

The Faculty of Law at the University of Pretoria is proud to announce that Professor Corlia van Heerden has been appointed as the South African Research Chair of the IVZW Tidjschrift voor Privaatrecht for the period 2018/19 at Gent University.

Professor van Heerden is the Barclays Africa Chair in Banking Law in Africa in the Department of Mercantile Law.

In his congratulatory letter to Professor Van Heerden, Dean André Boraine wrote that ‘this appointment serves as solid proof of Professor Van Heerden’s international standing.'
