Important Notes:

PLENARY SESSIONS

  • Each Plenary session will be 30 minutes
  • 20 min: Presentation from an Expert on the topic
  • 10 min: Discussant on the topic

BREAKAWAY SESSIONS

  • Each Breakaway session will be 90 minutes
  • 10 min: Opening remarks from an Expert from the Field
  • 10 min: Presentation from GDoH staff about progress made in that Field
  • 10 min: Presentation from PHRC/ DRC/ HRC on research done in this field in the Gauteng Province
  • 40 min: Discussant on the topic and Gallery Work
  • 20 min: concluding remarks 

WORKSHOPS

  • Each workshop will be of 240 min duration
  • They will focus on innovation in health system issues currently besieged the GDoH
  • It will be facilitated by experts in the field
  • It will be sponsored by the industries/ academic institutions
