We are privileged to be the House parents of Zinnia, a place which has become our home 5 years ago. We are extremely proud of all the ladies who make our house a HOME where every individual is treated with love and respect. In the residence we are known as House Mom and House Dad.  We regard it as honourable titles and that is exactly what we want to live up to, parents who are available and ready to help and advise where necessary. We have an open door policy and appreciate the way the ladies allow us to be part of their magical journey at varsity. It is indeed the best years of one’s life! To be able to stay in a residence is a privilege, and shouldn’t be taken for granted; therefore one should take advantage of the opportunities that res life offers.  

We value the academic performance of our ladies and special programmes are in place to assist everyone in their field of study. Zinnia offers a lot to ensure a balanced varsity life. We blossom with PRIDE, because we are very proud of the ladies who lead the house by example! Our Baroness and her team of Countesses accept the responsibility to create an environment where lady can grow into the best person that she can be! The more a person is willing to partake in the organized events (sport, social, spiritual, cultural) the more they will experience that Zinnia is a place where they can BELONG!

Zinnia House Comittee

The Zinnia House Committee are responsible for the everyday activities in the residence. The House Committee is also known as the HK (meaning Huis Kommittee) and consists of 12 ladies who have been elected by the House. Essential portfolios are given to each of the 12 ladies to ensure the residence and activities runs smoothly and effectively.
