Tassel caps

Tassel caps

The tassel cap system is a tradition unique to Taaibos which was first introduced in 1983. The tassel is a symbol of loyal residentship, awarded to individuals who have contributed to Taaibos Residence; as a dwelling where people can develop and express themselves within the living and learning environment. Every Taaibosser receives a navy cap with a white emblem of Rokkit on it. The House Committee's caps have a gold emblem on them. A Taaibosser is thus easily identifiable at any formal function or meeting. For every achievement or committee served on, the house member will receive a tassel with a specific colour. The tassels can then be worn with pride on the cap.
